How Long is the Commute From the South Bay to the East Bay?

With many people living in the East Bay commuting to their jobs in the South Bay, this has caused a lot of time sitting in traffic daily. I‐680 at the Sunol grade is one of the top 10 most congested freeway corridors in the Bay Area. After 2 years of construction, the I-680 Sunol Express Lanes are expected to open sometime later this year, making the commute smoother and faster. How Much Can You Afford When Purchasing a Home?

Interest rates are currently stable at 3.5 – 3.625%. In early 2019, interest rates were about 1% higher than what they currently are. An increase or decrease in these interest rates can have a large impact on the overall cost of your home purchase. The good news is there will likely be more rate decreases than increases. If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new home, this would be a great time to do so!
